Proprietary Information Review (PIR) Consultation

Once you’ve hired the right lawyer (and, for more information about how to do that, see other sections of this website), you and your trade secret attorney will conduct a Proprietary Information Review (PIR) consultation with an eye toward accomplishing two objectives: (a) to enable the client and trade secret attorney to ascertain the kinds of proprietary / trade secret information to be protected; and (b) to develop a preliminary blueprint regarding the tiers, layers, and / or mechanisms of protection applicable to each of the kinds of proprietary / trade secret information identified.
